Bhawani Bangles is a jewellery retailer with over 40 years of offline trust. Generations of brides from Ahmedabad have shopped here for wedding bangles, sets, and bridal collections. But while their offline reputation was strong, their online presence told a different story. Their Instagram looked ordinary, their Google profile was weak, and their brand didn’t look “premium” to new-age buyers browsing digitally before stepping into a store.


Challenges
The biggest gap wasn’t in product quality — it was in perception. Online, the brand looked like just another shop. Ads were running, but leads were either fake or non-serious because the audience couldn’t see a premium story behind the brand. On Google Maps, the store didn’t rank high enough to capture high-intent wedding shoppers. Even with decades of goodwill, they weren’t influencing digital-first brides and families.

Research & Insights
We conducted an audit of competitors in Ahmedabad and found that jewellers who ranked higher on GMB and invested in consistent, storytelling-driven content were not just getting clicks — they were influencing walk-ins. Brides today were being inspired by Instagram reels and reviews, not just word of mouth. Our insight was simple: unless Bhawani Bangles looked premium and trustworthy online, no ad spend would bring serious customers.

Strategy
- Instead of starting with more ads, we flipped the approach. We decided to first rebuild trust and brand image digitally, then push offers through campaigns. Our strategy had three pillars:
- Premium Storytelling: Create UGC-style reels, influencer partnerships, and heritage content that showed the richness of their jewellery.
- Trust Systems: Optimize their GMB profile, gather authentic customer reviews, and rank for “Ahmedabad Wedding Jewellery.”
- Targeted Ads: Once the perception was fixed, run highly focused campaigns on Meta targeting wedding buyers with aspirational reels and offers.

Execution & Results
We rolled out a 4-week storytelling calendar mixing product shoots, behind-the-scenes reels, and customer testimonials. A micro-influencer campaign added authenticity. Parallelly, we revamped their GMB listing — keyword-rich descriptions, real store images, and a review drive that gathered 90+ fresh ratings in 2 months.
